The southwest corner of the Jardin (central plaza) The beautiful accross the street to the right of "la Parroquia", with the statue in the corner was once a home, and is the birthplace of General Ignacio Allende. He was one of the young revolutionaries that freed Mexico from Spain in the early 18th century. Now it is a museum.
